Hello there! My name is Katie, and I am the owner and photographer of Sarah Kate Photography. I'm a twenty somethin' native North Carolina gal, so naturally I love all things southern. I am based out of the coastal town of Morehead City, but serve all across the beautiful Crystal Coast.

I am married to the most wonderful man, have two sweet step daughters, and have a little farm, including a pig, cats, fish, chickens, ducks.

I am a natural light and lifestyle photographer who specializes in family, maternity, and newborn photography. My photographic style is very light and airy and I adore shooting during golden hour or sunrise. And those little details...they get me every time... It could be a brother and sister going in for a big hug, a couple holding hands along the water’s edge, or close ups of a newborns itty bitty toes. I live for those sweet in-between moments, the giggles, the way your kiddos look up at you... and freezing them in time. Photography has grown into a true passion of mine, and I absolutely love capturing those unforgettable, natural, and candid moments between people. Everyone’s stories are unique in their own way, and I love being able to tell those stories through photographs.
